Check Point Certified Security Engineer (CCSE)

Check Point Certified Security Engineer CCSE is the in depth training on VPN-1/FireWall-1, and is the next step after the completion of CCSA certification. In this course, you will acquire the skills necessary to set up a site-to-site VPN and rollout a remote access VPN with either VPN-1 SecureClient or VPN-1 SecureRemote.

   
Requirements

To earn CCSE CP 2000 certification, candidates must pass:
Exam #156-205: VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management I - CP 2000
Exam #156-305: VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management II - CP2000

To earn CCSE NG certification, candidates must pass:
Exam #156-210: VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management I - NG
Exam #156-310: VPN-1/FireWall-1 Management II - NG

However, it should be noted that CCSA CP 2000 certification does not satisfy prerequisites for CCSE NG certification.

VPN desktop policies for VPN-1 SecureClient and usage in Security Configuration Verification to ensure VPN client security
VPN-1 SecureClient packaging tool for easy software configuration and deployment
Digital certificates for trust relationships establishments in VPN environments
Usage of SYNDefender to protect against denial of service (DoS) attacks
Content security and URL filtering
Multiple Entry Point (MEP) and Single Entry Point (SEP) High Availability configurations
   
Hands-on-Labs

Installing VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG Enforcement Point and Mgmt Server on different OS
Configuring VPN-1 Gateway to support VPN deployments
Setting up VPN-1 SecuRemote and VPN-1 SecureClient for remote access VPNs
Setting VPN-1 SecureClient personal firewall policies for secure VPN remote access deployments
Content security to enable Java blocking, URL screening by file, URL blocking using UFB Server and anti-virus checking for incoming emails.
