Enrollment
We receive registration applications via telephone,
electronic mail, FAX, or postal mail. The Registrar
enters the student's name, course (or courses) desired,
postal mail address, electronic mail address, and
phone number into the class entry.
If
the student is on the telephone line, the Registrar
verifies this data using the membership database.
The objective is to update the membership database
with member changes as they contact us (rather than
paying USPS for the forwarding notice). If the student
is not on the phone line, the Registrar sends a confirming
post card, email, or telephone call to the student,
advising the student of the cancellation or change
- as appropriate. If there are discrepancies between
the message data and the membership database, the
Registrar will call or email the member to verify
the new data.

Attendance
A day or two prior to the class, the Registrar will place

the class roster . The students or the instructor checks

database as may be implemented subsequently.
The Instructor leaves
the student evaluation forms in the Training Director's
mail slot at location.
If someone
registers late and after the list is dropped off, the Registrar
sends an electronic mail with the late registrant's information
to the instructor. Instructors need to remember to bring
electronic mail messages with them to class to take a late
registrant's name and payment.
Class
Cancellations
If there are no more than two paid students registered,
classes will be canceled for under enrollment (except when
the class is authorized to proceed by the Training Director).
The Registrar shall cancel classes for under enrollment
no more than seven days and no less than three days in advance.
If the class is canceled owing to non-availability of the
facility or under enrollment, the Registrar will notify
the instructor and then contact the students.
Assuming
there are at least three paid students, a class will be
held as scheduled even if less than three people show up.
Epsolon does not give refunds to those who do not attend
without making advanced arrangements with the Registrar.
Class credit may be granted.
If the
Instructor becomes ill or faces a personal emergency, the
Instructor shall arrange for a substitute from the roster
of Instructors. If no substitute is available, the Instructor
may cancel the class and shall notify all registered students,
the Training Director, and the Registrar.
As the
Instructor can cancel classes on short notice , it is essential
that the Registrar provide Instructor with an up-to-date
class list including student telephone numbers and electronic
mail addresses.
