About

An IT company that also runs a business on its own software.

That order matters. We are not consultants who have read about warehouses — we operate one, and everything here had to work there first.

Who we are

Epsolon Inc.

Epsolon Inc. is a United States information technology company. It began as an IT consulting and staffing firm, placing engineers and delivering application development, integration and business-intelligence work for clients across several industries.

Today the focus is narrower and, we think, more useful: building and running operational software for small and mid-sized businesses — the systems that handle purchasing, inventory, marketplace channels, supplier relationships and reconciliation.

The shift came from operating a multi-channel retail business alongside the consulting work. Running a real warehouse teaches you quickly which software problems are actually expensive, and most of them are not the ones that get demoed at conferences.

So we built for ourselves, in production, under real conditions — and that is what we now offer to other companies with the same problems.

What we believe

Opinions we hold strongly enough to publish.

Software should be boring

Boring means predictable deploys, obvious failures and a stack any competent engineer can pick up. Novelty is a cost, and you pay it every time something breaks at 2am.

Measure it, or do not claim it

We would rather say a number is unknown than publish one we cannot trace to source. A confident wrong figure is worse than an honest gap, because people act on it.

Own your own systems

Every account, repository and database in your name. Lock-in is a business model, not an architecture, and we do not want a client who stays because leaving is hard.

Integrations we have built against

Commerce and operations platforms including Shopify, Amazon, eBay, inventory and warehouse management systems, shipping platforms, inventory-accounting systems, and marketing and analytics tools — plus the internal services that sit between them.

Platform and product names are the property of their respective owners and are referenced here only to describe integration work. Their use does not imply any partnership, endorsement or affiliation.

Let's talk about what you're running on.

Tell us what your business actually does day to day, and where the software gets in the way. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
